Your main duties will include but not be limited to:

• Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.

The Role

As a key member of the Families Outside team, supported by the Director of Policy & Influencing, the Fundraiser will provide a strategic approach to fundraising, working alongside the Fundraising Officer to source funding for existing staff and resources, identify and pursue ethical and diverse funding sources, and compose funding bids that support the Strategic Aims of Families Outside. The right candidate will develop and maintain relationships with funders and potential funders, including through the timely drafting and submission of comprehensive funding reports, and work across the organisation to develop relevant funding applications with colleagues for a range of projects and initiatives.

What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Anti-Social Behaviour Support Worker. 21hpw, 2-Years Fixed-Term contract with possible extension. Working hours to be agreed be between the following days and hours: Monday - Friday between 8am - 8pm & Saturdays 10am - 4pm

Salary band: £27,598 - £36,445. Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to review - in line with VSS progression arrangements. A higher salary placing will only be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.

Primary location: Broadside House, 2 Powerhall Road, Edinburgh, EH7 4GB. You will be expected to work throughout Edinburgh, Lothian & Borders locality.

This role is based within the Edinburgh, Lothian and Borders locality reporting to the Locality Manager, the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Support Worker will provide tailored, one-to-one support to people affected by ASB, helping them to feel safe, heard, informed, and empowered.

The role involves assessing individual needs and risks, developing and reviewing support plans, and coordinating with partner agencies to ensure an effective and joined-up response. Working within the VSS framework, the postholder will uphold victims’ rights, maintain accurate case records, and contribute to the development of peer support opportunities. Where appropriate, the ASB Support Worker will also support and work alongside volunteers to facilitate safe, inclusive group sessions that promote recovery and shared experience.

In addition to delivering 1-1 support this role will support the Anti-Social Behaviour Project Coordinator to build partnerships nationally to establish effective referral pathways and raise awareness of Victim Support Scotland services.

You will bring experience from a similar role and a commitment to your own professional development. As a confident and supportive leader, you will know how to motivate others, build trust, and drive performance. You’re comfortable working with data gathering, analysing, and presenting insights that help shape decisions. As a member of the Service Delivery team, you will be reporting to the Head of Service Delivery, the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Project Coordinator is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Victim Support Scotland’s anti-social behaviour service delivery across the organisation.

You will ensure that all ASB-related support is delivered to a high standard, is trauma-informed, victim-centred and rights-based, and is aligned with Victim Support Scotland’s strategic objectives.

You will lead on service development, partnership working, quality assurance, performance management, and monitoring and evaluation for ASB work across VSS.

You will lead the development and delivery of resources, guidance and training to improve support for people impacted by anti-social behaviour, ensuring practical tools are available for landlords, letting agents and other stakeholders in the private rented sector. By improving sector knowledge and pathways to support, the project will help victims feel safer, sustain their tenancy, and recover from harm caused by anti-social behaviour.
