Role
Disability Equality Scotland are looking for part time Easy Read Creator to covert information into Easy Read using plain language, supporting images and clear layouts. You will be working with a small team of experienced Easy Read Creators. You will be involved in the creation of internal and external documents.
As a membership organisation for disabled people and disability organisations, it is important we can communicate clearly to everyone and encourage others to do this too.

We are looking for a personable, confident, team player to provide administrative support to the Recruitment Officer based at our Head Office in Edinburgh. As a Recruitment Assistant, you will be integral in the recruitment and employment of potential candidates.
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, possess strong communication skills (written and verbal), and be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of all Microsoft applications.
Key duties will include:
- Liaise with potential applicants throughout Scotland about employment opportunities
- Assist the Recruitment Officer with the administration of the recruitment processes including advertising, application packs, producing offer letters and pre-employment checks.
- Manage and action the recruitment inbox on a daily basis
- Schedule interviews with candidates and provide managers with relevant materials, candidate documentation, including set up & clear up of meeting rooms
- Assist with the analysis of recruitment information to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment processes.

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Scottish Borders services as a Team Leader.
Autism Initiatives Scotland provides a range of person centered services throughout Scotland to people who are 16 years old and over.
Based between our supported living services in Longnewton and our Scottish Borders Outreach service in Galashiels, the Team Leader will support the Area Manager in ensuring that all staff are managed and supervised effectively and that the highest level of autism specific practice and standards are maintained. You will also manage the staff to deliver support plans to our service users and work with healthcare professionals to ensure support plans are to the highest quality.
The Team Leader will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, therefore, you will be able to demonstrate excellent social care project management skills and have a working knowledge of current legislation relating to the social care sector.
