The ALLIANCE has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join our team and play a significant role in a value-focused organisation. This is a key post at the ALLIANCE with the successful candidate having responsibility for supporting the management team with financial record keeping.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Accountancy qualification or relevant experience of working in finance
  • Must be numerate
  • Good understanding of financial procedures and controls
  • Ability to input large volumes of data
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT skills in accounting software word processing, spreadsheets, databases and the MS Office suite
  • Good understanding of data protection and privacy
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of an effective team
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities without loss of competency
  • Demonstrate independent judgement and initiative
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated and willing to learn
