Role

Apex Scotland is the leading employment and training organisation specialising in work with people with convictions.

Apex Scotland offers a diverse range of services for young people and adults to help them break down barriers to employment and engage in education, employment or community activities.

We are looking for a full time Key Worker (Personal Development Mentor) to work in Glasgow.

This role will join a team of Key Workers, made up of organisations who share the same ethos, care and aspirations for the people we support. This is a developing partnership led by The Wheatley Group, with Apex Scotland working alongside SAMH, Move On and Street Soccer.

The Key Worker will be required to be mobile and to work in an outreach way, across Glasgow city. Apex Scotland is looking for a dynamic individual who can work in diverse environments. The role will directly support participants who have barriers to progressing into positive activity, including employment, and often these will be experience of the justice system, housing/homelessness and addictions.

This post is contracted until 31 March 2026 with opportunity for extension.

In view of the nature of this post and the requirement to work with vulnerable adults, this post holders will be required to join the relevant PVG scheme.
