Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity in a small charity for a co-ordinator. Musically Active Dudes or Musac for short, runs educational social musical activities for adults with learning and physical disabilities who are accessing activities in the community. Some activities can be seen on our Facebook page.

The Coordinator will assist the management committee and tutors to run the classes smoothly. This person would be at the venue before the classes to arrange the room and chairs as needed. They would be ready to register attendees and take money. This person would liaise with the class tutors. There would be some arranging of tables in the hall for those staying to have their lunch.

We hope to expand the weekly opportunities available for adults with learning and physical disabilities.

This job would involve working Mondays, 10.45am – 3.15pm and Thursdays, 10.45am to 2.30pm. The work would be mainly during term time. The Co-ordinator must have good communication skills, must be physically fit to move chairs and tables and must show the administrative skills needed to run a weekly groups.
