Human Resources Officer

Role

Early Years Scotland is looking to recruit an organised, enthusiastic, and detailed oriented person with great administrative skills and sound HR experience who can join our friendly team and make a positive impact in supporting all aspects of our HR related work.

We would love to hear from you if you are:

  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, self-motivating and solution focused.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, electronic filing, and e-mail
  • Experience of implementing and operating HR solutions and systems including (preferably) Breathe HR system.
  • Experience of recruitment processes and inducting new staff
  • Experience of minute taking
  • Committed to confidentiality and have awareness of the need for sensitivity in a people facing HR role.
  • Experienced In, or willing to learn to support payroll processes.
  • Keen to tackle new challenges and grasp new opportunities.
  • Willing to learn, develop and improve your expertise, skills and knowledge.
  • Adept at multi-tasking with high standards and an eye for detail.

An absolute necessity for this post is an excellent level of competence, confidence and accuracy in written and verbal communication including a knowledge of sound HR processes and legislation and a willingness to keep abreast of employment law legislative changes and good practice.
