This is a senior role within the organisation, reporting directly to the Director of Finance. The Lead Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and driving forward the fundraising strategy and increasing income across all streams, including individual giving, corporate partnerships, and grants. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team, ensuring that fundraising efforts are innovative, effective, and aligned with the strategic goals.

• Communication and Persuasion: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling cases for support and present them effectively to different audiences. This includes preparing persuasive reports and presentations that resonate with donors and stakeholders.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team providing education, therapy and care to children and young people within the Stanmore and Corseford Schools.

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Lead Speech & Language Therapist to work as part of the Allied Health service within Stanmore School and Corseford School. You will be required to lead and manage a team of Speech & Language Therapists across two sites which will involve line management of all staff and a student education programme. You will ensure the provision of a comprehensive Speech & Language service for all children and young people in a variety of settings.

This job is located across two schools - Stanmore House School and Corseford School. The successful candidate will be expected to travel between the schools as part of their working week.

This is an exciting post to develop Lead Scotland Befriending Services to take forward our strategic ambition.

The successful applicant will:

1. Work with the management team to extend our local projects and explore wider coverage of services.
2. Lead the development of:
   1. High-quality befriending opportunities, with links to our Learning Service.
   2. Online volunteer training resources/programmes.
3. Enable more disabled people and carers to engage with befriending services which lead to a range of positive outcomes, including positive transition into learning services where appropriate.
4. Manage befriending projects, contracts, and partnerships.
5. Home-based in Fife to ensure close contact with our existing Befriending Services.

This post will suit someone who is passionate about the power of befriending services to reduce loneliness and isolation, and who has a track record of successfully managing people and projects.

You will need very good digital skills and excellent communication skills to balance a busy workload, supporting our strategic growth agenda and creating the conditions for staff and volunteers to flourish.

This post is home-based, with remote working generally focused on administrative aspects as there will be a significant element of leading the service through in-person partnership networking and team support/development. We seek a part-time Befriending Coordinator to market and deliver our well-established befriending service in the Fife area to adults and older people who are socially isolated, lonely or disconnected because of disability, ill health or other circumstances.

This post requires you to have your administrative home-base in Fife and involves regular travel across Fife to homes and communities.

It involves regulated work for which a satisfactory PVG will be required. Lead Scotland has a Recruiting People with Convictions Policy.
