Could you be part of something different? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to use their gifts, skills and experience to make a difference to the lives of the people in our parishes and communities.

We are seeking a Parish Assistant to develop and deliver a range of services and activities which aim to support individuals and families, to encourage personal development, facilitate positive relationships, reduce isolation, promote inclusion, and increase participation in community and congregational life. This role will also assist the minister in a range of pastoral, congregational and community-related duties.

With the ability to lead worship to a membership with a broad range of understanding of the Christian faith, the successful candidate will also have a commitment to ecumenical working and the ability to carry out effective and empathetic pastoral care, often in complex situations.

The successful candidate will be a committed Christian with an active Church connection (Genuine Occupational Requirement in terms of the Equality Act 2010).
