Role
Blackwood are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Housing Services team and play an important role in ensuring our customers live in safe, well-maintained homes. You’ll take day-to-day responsibility for monitoring allocated landlord health and safety compliance programmes, making sure actions are progressed, records are accurate and potential risks are identified and escalated. You’ll monitor compliance activity across key areas including gas, electrical safety, fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene and legionella, lifting equipment, damp and mould, and other landlord compliance requirements. You’ll work closely with contractors, colleagues and customers to ensure inspections, servicing, certificates and follow-up actions are completed on time.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, methodical and proactive, with the confidence to take ownership of allocated work and see things through to completion.
A CIH Level 3 qualification, or equivalent relevant property management/maintenance experience, is essential.

About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll work as part of a team in providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for the people who use our services. You’ll do this by providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.
Main Responsibilities:
Our Musselburgh North High Street service has an exciting opportunity for one full-time and one part-time Support Worker. Both roles involve working a rota covering various day shift patterns, including some weekend work. The Support Worker will:
- work as part of a team providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people.
- support, review, monitor and evaluate through our case management system, to achieve a positive person-centred outcome for the people we work with in line with organisational, statutory and legislative requirements.
- maintain and update all recording systems and documentation in line with relevant policies, procedures and practice guidelines, including the occupancy agreement, within required timeframes.
- provide, plan and facilitate key work meetings, key work sessions, meetings, reviews and other internal/external meetings in conjunction with the person’s support plan.
- provide general advocacy and advice to the people we support, including assistance to enable them to meet the conditions of their occupancy agreements.

About the Role:

As an Intensive Floating Support Worker, you’ll work in the community to provide a wide range of flexible intensive support to individuals to encourage independence to maintain and sustain a tenancy and adapt to community life.
Main Responsibilities:
TThis Intensive Floating Support Worker will be covering support to up to 5 semi-independent flats in the community and also proving support to our LaPorte service which is for unaccompanied young people. There will be a requirement to work at Falkirk Hub service where needed. Applicant must be a driver and willing to add business insurance to their policy. Both roles (35 hours per week & 26 hours per week) involve working on a rota covering various shift patterns including some weekends. The Intensive Floating Support Worker will:
- Provide intervention and a range of supports for new referrals and existing Supported People in Blue Triangle’s supported accommodation services and move-on accommodation.
- To provide trauma-informed, person-centred, and wellbeing-focused support for people supported by Blue Triangle.
- To support, review, monitor and evaluate through our SHARP monitoring tool to achieve a positive person-centred outcome for the people we work with in line with Blue Triangle’s statutory and legislative requirements.
- To support people transitioning from supported accommodation into the local community or referred from other sources, helping them on their personal pathway towards a settled tenancy, building their tenancy and life management skills.

About the Role:
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing safe, secure, supported accommodation for homeless people within your service. You will manage and lead a team delivering quality housing support/accommodation and housing management service and to support people experiencing homelessness to build their skills and confidence to sustain their own tenancy. In Oban there are 2 services, Shore Street & Solas, and as such transitional work between the 2 services is required. This role is 35 hours per week and will be Monday-Friday.
Main Responsibilities:
As Service Manager, you will:
- Lead, manage and develop the staff team and others where appropriate (e.g. students, trainees etc.) to meet the objectives of the service, delegating tasks where appropriate.
- Promote and encourage the professional development of staff, including onboarding, supervision, core competencies, in-house training and external training.
- Ensure adequate staffing cover is provided for the service at all times by appropriate shift rotas and deployment of employees, both permanent and relief.
- Manage all aspects of the service in line with Blue Triangle, statutory and legislative requirements and take a lead role in the strategic development of the service.
