Across more than 40 services, our 1,400 colleagues support people throughout Scotland who are facing some of the most complex challenges in their lives. We work alongside people to help them have greater choice, independence and control, and to achieve positive and lasting change.
We are now looking for three new Trustees to join our Board and help shape the next chapter of Turning Point Scotland.
As a Trustee, you will share responsibility for the strategic direction, governance and long-term sustainability of the organisation. You will work alongside fellow Trustees and our leadership team, bringing insight, judgement and constructive challenge to the decisions we make about our future.
But this is not a role confined to the boardroom. Our Trustees visit services, meet colleagues and listen to the people we support, using those experiences to inform Board discussions and ensure our decisions remain connected to the people and communities we serve.
You do not need previous Trustee or non-executive experience. We are interested in people who share our values and can bring different experiences, perspectives and ways of thinking to our Board.
You will be curious, thoughtful and willing to ask challenging questions, while working collaboratively with others towards a shared purpose.
Whilst we are open to encouraging a range of skills and experience, we are particularly interested in individuals with HR, legal, social care or procurement (specifically local authority procurement) experience.

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Chair to proactively lead and support our organisation, providing strategic direction and insight to ensure we achieve our vision.
Wellbeing Scotland has been dedicated to supporting people impacted by child abuse since 1994. We support children, young people, adults and families, with an established specialism in access to records for people who experienced abuse while in care. We are a long-standing delivery partner of the Scottish Redress Support scheme.
We recently said goodbye to some long-standing Board members and are now looking for a new Chair and more trustees to bring fresh perspectives and energy. This is an opportunity to broaden our skillset and ensure the organisation is well supported for its next chapter.
The Chair’s role will be crucial throughout our next phase: providing steady leadership, supporting the Board through change, and ensuring the ongoing resilience of the organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Chair:
- Provide effective leadership and strategic direction
- Chair Board meetings and AGM
- Act as a bridge between the Board and the senior leadership team
- Ensure the charity operates in line with governing documents, charity law and best practice
- Represent Wellbeing Scotland externally with funders, partners and supporters
This is a voluntary role requiring attendance at 6 Board meetings per year plus additional support in line with the responsibilities of the role.

Previous experience as a Chair is desirable but not essential. Most important is your commitment to our work and to using your experience to help us achieve our vision. We actively welcome expressions of interest from people of all backgrounds, professions and life experiences.
Support Worker

The Support Worker role is to support and engage with people to manage and recover their mental health, in line with our trauma-informed approach. You will help people with safer substance use and assist them with the process when they choose to stop. You will assist our people to build a positive network of connections to enable them to gain and sustain their own housing.
As a Support Worker, you will provide work alongside people impacted by homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges and trauma. You will provide guidance and assistance to the people we support to achieve their goals of securing safe housing and accessing the necessary support to feel secure, manage their challenges and live an independent life free from harm or abuse.
Our services in Glasgow, managed from our locality office in Govan, Glasgow, are looking for a long-term Operations Manager. This role would suit an experienced, values-oriented, person-centred social care professional. With a desire to lead teams working to support adults and young people, you will be familiar with the complex challenges that people can face, whether that is a young person experiencing distress, a person experiencing housing issues, or someone having their first experience of psychosis.
As an Operations Manager, you will be working closely with the Local Management Team – a brilliant team of experienced, social care managers – with the ability to manage your own diary and work routines.
This role has a good degree of autonomy, within clearly defined values and strategic objectives. You will be working within a busy and dynamic locality, which requires the flexibility to be responsive to the ever-changing environment. Contributing to the strategic management of Carr Gomm, you will have an appreciation of organisational values while developing a greater understanding of the organisational goals and objectives both for the people we support and all colleagues.
This is a dynamic role in which you will never settle for ‘good enough’ but will always prioritise effectively in an ever-changing environment. You will appreciate that there is always capacity to innovate, improve, develop and stretch targets in the pursuit of a more equitable society in which people can lead full and positive lives as active citizens.
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Operations Manager is an essential role for the success and development of the locality.

The key to being successful in this role, in Glasgow, is the experience of managing person-centred services to individuals, and an awareness of what getting it right for people means, both when driving quality in existing services, and in developing new services. East and South East Scotland Partnerships Manager

We are looking for a Partnerships Manager based in East or South East Scotland, someone who wants to help build our programme across these regions. You’ll join a friendly, supportive and values-driven team, working with employers, public sector organisations and communities to create life-changing opportunities for young people through mentoring.
About the role
This is a unique opportunity to help shape MCR Pathways’ growth. As Partnerships Manager, you’ll build relationships with employers, public sector organisations and community partners that create sustainable pipelines of volunteer mentors and wider organisational support.
You’ll enjoy a varied and autonomous role, combining business development, relationship management and regional partnership building. Working flexibly between home, partner locations and communities across the East & South East of Scotland, you’ll have the opportunity to influence how mentoring grows across the region while being supported by an experienced national team committed to achieving lasting impact for young people.
Key responsibilities
- Research, map, and secure new corporate, public sector, and SME partners whose CSR, ESG, and D&I pillars align with MCR Pathways’ mission.
- Deliver compelling pitches, proposals, and workplace engagement events to drive high-volume mentor recruitment and hit ambitious monthly regional targets.
- Serve as the primary account manager for regional partners, delivering exceptional service to nurture long-term commitment and turn partners into active champions of the program.
- Collaborate with the Communications team and local networks to execute place-based campaigns and social media drives that raise brand visibility and generate prospective mentor inquiries in priority areas.
- Work closely with cross-functional internal teams to optimise the conversion process, guiding prospective mentors seamlessly from initial inquiry through to active onboarding.
- Utilise CRM systems and dashboards to track pipeline activity, evaluate campaign ROI, and monitor key recruitment and retention metrics.
About you
- Experience of and expertise in relationship-building on an organisational and individual level
- Experience presenting compelling and emotionally engaging information sessions to stakeholder organisations and individuals
- Experience and understanding of the importance of recruiting a diverse range of volunteers
- Can-do, proactive, flexible, solution-focused attitude
- Belief in young people’s potential, modelling motivation, commitment and resilience
- Knowledge of East and South East Scotland, including community groups and organisations
