Role

Project Delivery: Scotland wide

CEMVO Scotland is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to deliver My Culture, My Heritage – a new project supporting ethnic minority (EM) third sector organisations and community groups across Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and shape a new programme from the ground up.

You will work directly with organisations across Scotland, providing practical support to help them develop heritage project ideas, understand funding opportunities and submit strong applications to the Heritage Development Fund, managed by CEMVO Scotland through The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

You will also support organisations to successfully manage and deliver their funded project. Working alongside specialist training partners you will build sector knowledge, skills and confidence to identify and interpret, document and preserve and celebrate and share their own heritage.

A key part of the role will be developing peer networks, creating opportunities for organisations to connect, share experiences, exchange intelligence and learn from one another. You will help build relationships across the EM third sector and ensure that the programme responds to the needs and experiences of organisations and communities across Scotland.

We are looking for someone who understands the capacity building process and is passionate about cultural heritage and the contribution that ethnic minority communities make to enrich Scotland's heritage.
