Role

Beatson Cancer Charity is seeking an experienced, values-led Outreach Services Manager to lead multidisciplinary cancer support services across the West of Scotland, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support for patients and families.

About the Role

The role combines operational leadership, team development, service performance, stakeholder partnership, compliance and budget oversight.

The successful candidate should bring substantial health or social care experience, proven multidisciplinary team management, and a compassionate commitment to supporting people affected by cancer.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop the Specialist Health and Work Service (SHAWS), Group Support Programme, Counselling, Benefits Advice and Bereavement Services.

• Manage and support a multidisciplinary team, promoting collaboration and best practice.

• Recruit, develop and retain talented staff.

• Build strong relationships with NHS colleagues and key stakeholders.

• Oversee service performance, budgets, GDPR compliance and reporting.

• Promote services through communications, partnership working and events.

About You

You will be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent professional qualification in a

relevant health or social care discipline, with at least five years’ practice experience. You will also have a minimum of three years’ experience managing teams within a multidisciplinary environment, alongside strong leadership, organisational and relationship-building skills. You will bring a compassionate, values-driven approach and a clear commitment to supporting people affected by cancer
