The Role

We are seeking a motivated and capable Project Operations Manager to lead the delivery and development of our services.

This is a key leadership role within the organisation. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and driving a strong focus on outcomes and impact.

You will play a central role in strengthening performance, developing staff, and ensuring our services are consistently focused on making a measurable difference.

You will work closely with the CEO, staff team and partners to ensure our services continue to meet the needs of our community.

This role requires someone who is comfortable setting direction and supporting staff to deliver high-quality, consistent services and who is comfortable taking ownership of service standards and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clear and supportive leadership, setting expectations and helping staff to perform at their best

• Ensure services are well managed, outcome-focused and making a meaningful difference

Help make a difference to local families - Bellshill & Mossend YMCA is looking for a motivated and compassionate Project Lead to coordinate and deliver our Y-Connect project. Y-Connect supports carers and children under five with diagnosed or undiagnosed Additional Support Needs (ASN), providing opportunities for play, learning, social connection and wellbeing support.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a well-established project, working directly with families while coordinating a small team including staff and volunteers and partnerships to ensure high-quality support for children and carers. You’ll have the opportunity to develop and shape the project to ensure it continues to meet the needs of local families.

• Experience working with children and families
• Knowledge of early years, ASN, family support or community learning
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Experience leading projects, services or teams

Qualifications:

Applicants should hold, or be working towards, a relevant qualification in Childhood Practice, Early Years, Community Learning and Development, Social Services (Children and Young People), Family Support, or a related field.

The Scottish Pantry Network (TSPN) is growing, and we are recruiting a Volunteer & Employability Coordinator to lead volunteering and support volunteer progression within our Prepmate meal‑kit programme. This new role offers the chance to shape a people-centred volunteering programme while supporting practical skills development in a busy production environment.

About Us

TSPN strengthens communities across Scotland by improving access to nutritious food, reducing food waste and supporting community wellbeing. Our Prepmate programme produces affordable meal kits while providing hands‑on training and development opportunities for volunteers.

About the Role

You will recruit, induct and support volunteers, coordinate their day‑to‑day activities across food prep, packing and stock handling, and deliver training in key areas such as food hygiene, safety and customer service.

You will also provide light‑touch employability support (CV help, confidence building, goal setting) and build strong relationships with partners such as DWP, colleges, Skills Development Scotland and employers.

The Junction is looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual to support the effective running of our charity. If successful, you will play a vital part in a small team, dedicated to improving the lives of young people.

We welcome applications from candidates with experience of office or project management, and we are particularly interested in individuals who have financial management or bookkeeping experience.

About The Junction

The Junction is an award-winning charity in North East Edinburgh that supports and improves young people’s health and wellbeing.

Last year, we supported more than 1,800 young people and supported around 150 young people through one-to-one support. As a result of the service:

• 100% of young people learned practical ways to look after their wellbeing
• 88% felt more able to cope with difficult situations
• 94% reduced or stopped substance use or learned how to reduce harm associated.

About the Role

This role combines both financial management and office management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of The Junction.

If successful in this role, you will oversee the organisations finances, using accounting software to track income and expenditure. On a monthly basis you will process payroll and pensions for around 10 staff. On an annual basis you will prepare an annual budget working with the Director, and work with an external agency to gather information for Annual Charity Accounts.

You will support our duties relating to Data Protection and Health & Safety legislation and policy development. You will review and manage contracts (e.g. utilities, insurance) and assist with premises management.

• Experience of developing and monitoring budgets
• Experience of working with others to prepare annual accounts
• Experience of project or office management
• Experience of using Office 365 or relevant software i.e. Word, Excel
• Experience of complying with Data Protection and Health & Safety legislation
• Ability to use your own initiative, organise yourself and others.

Desirable

• An accounting or business qualification
• Bookkeeping experience
• Experiencing of processing payroll and pension provider submissions
• Experience of overseeing contracts i.e. Utilities & Insurance
• Understanding of Health & Safety responsibilities
• Experience of premises management and upkeep.
