The MacDougall of Dunollie Preservation Trust (DPT) is seeking an experienced and inspiring Site & Heritage Manager to lead Dunollie Museum, Castle & Grounds, one of Scotland's most significant heritage sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for a heritage professional with strong management, fundraising and business skills to lead our heritage site and museum during a pivotal period of transformation. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will balance heritage conservation with income generation, visitor engagement and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on site operations for the Trust, including funded projects, events, commercial activities and the heritage offer.

• Develop and enhance Dunollie's visitor experience.

• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary staff team.

• Assist and monitor in grant funding and identify new income opportunities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, donors, partners and stakeholders.

• Monitor budgets and financial results, analyse financial performance and report against organisational objectives.

• Ensure the preservation of the site's historic assets, collections and museum standards.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Significant experience in a management role within the heritage, museum, cultural or visitor attraction sector.

• A strong understanding of heritage conservation, museums and visitor engagement.

• Proven involvement in fundraising and grant management experience, including developing funding applications and reporting to funders.

• Excellent people skills, with the ability to inspire teams and build productive relationships with trustees, funders, partners and communities.

• Competent analytical and financial skills, including budgeting, performance monitoring and strategic planning.

• Experience of managing projects, delivering against targets and supporting organisational sustainability.

• A passion for heritage and a commitment to sharing cultural history with diverse audiences.

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra is seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our Development Team as Development Officer (Research & Donor Insight).

This newly created role will play a key part in supporting the SCO’s fundraising ambitions. Working across all areas of fundraising, you will undertake prospect research, provide donor insight and intelligence, and coordinate the organisation’s fundraising pipeline, helping to identify and develop opportunities for philanthropic support.

We are looking for someone with strong research, analytical and organisational skills who enjoys working with information and building relationships. Experience of fundraising or prospect research would be welcome, but we are equally interested in candidates with transferable skills and a desire to develop expertise in donor insight and prospect development.

As National Fundraising Growth Manager, you will provide dedicated growth capability across Alzheimer Scotland’s national fundraising portfolio. Working across established products such as Tea & Blether, Memory Walk, Shooting Stars and other participation fundraising initiatives, you will identify where growth can be achieved and help shape the plans, partnerships and routes to market that make it possible.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues in Fundraising, Communications, Corporate Fundraising, Community Fundraising and Localities, using data, insight and market awareness to reach new audiences, increase participation, build strategic partnerships and support sustainable unrestricted income growth.

What you’ll have

You will bring experience of growing participation, supporter acquisition or customer acquisition, and of delivering measurable commercial or income growth. You will be commercially minded, curious and confident building relationships with a wide range of partners and stakeholders, with strong analytical skills and the ability to use insight and data to identify growth opportunities.

You will also have excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills, experience managing projects and budgets, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams without direct line management responsibility. You will understand how audience growth, acquisition and insight can shape effective promotional activity, while working with communications colleagues rather than owning every delivery channel.

JOB PURPOSE

The Climate & Environment team have instigated a 3 year Energy Management Improvement Project. The purpose of this project is to improve our energy management to enable the Trust to reduce energy use and contribute to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. The focus is on four key areas: metering strategy; monitoring & reporting; training & capacity building; and site-based support. A key component of this project is the metering strategy – producing an accurate list of all gas, electric and water meter locations and their status across the Trust’s entire portfolio, upgrading all meters to be automated and migrating them to a new energy management portal. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of administrative support for this aspect of the project. They will ensure all general administration is undertaken diligently, efficiently and carried out within the Trust’s procedures and policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensure all general administrative tasks are undertaken efficiently, effectively and timeously, including (but not limited to):

• Meetings support (agendas, minutes, support documentation, follow up actions and next steps).
• Undertake any other duties reasonably required, as fitting the grade and scope of the role.
• Manage meter upgrade appointments process (electricity & gas) - liaise with supplier & property, ensuring everyone has relevant information
• Report regularly on progress with upgrades and summarise issues arising (which might require technical input)
• Monitor meter faults via Stark portal and instigate action then monitor progress on fault rectification
• Manage meter portfolio spreadsheet, providing regular updates on progress and where action needs to be taken
• Help arrange visits to properties (when needed) to make sure access is available and property staff are aware - set up a prioritisation process for visits
• Liaise with suppliers for solutions with meter upgrades when technical issues arise, with support from the Energy Administrator
• Generate basic consumption reports if required
