Kinross-shire Youth Enterprise (KYTHE), a dynamic Christian youthwork a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young people in Kinross-shire to reach their full potential. They firmly believe in the strength of community partnerships, working together with local schools, churches, and government bodies to deliver life enhancing services to the youth of the area. The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and spiritually mature Christian leader to develop and pioneer faith-based youth work across Kinross-shire.

Working as part of the leadership team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Youth Work, Kinross-shire Parish Church and other local congregations to maintain and grow meaningful opportunities for young people to explore the Christian faith.

You will:

• Lead and develop weekly and annual faith-based youth initiatives
• Create and adapt engaging programmes that support young people at different stages of their faith journey
• Further intergenerational worship opportunities in partnership with local churches
• Build trusted relationships with young people through open-access youth work
• Provide individual spiritual support and mentoring to young people
• Strengthen partnerships between KYTHE and local congregations
• Contribute to strategic planning and organisational development
• Model and uphold KYTHE’s Christian values through spiritual leadership and active participation in team prayer and reflection
• Monitor progress, track outcomes and report to Trustees and church partners
• Represent KYTHE confidently with stakeholders, churches and community partners

This is a varied and relational role combining youth work delivery, spiritual leadership, partnership development and strategic contribution — offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young people and the wider Christian community in Kinross-shire.

What KYTHE Needs From You

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised qualification in Christian Ministry with an emphasis on youth work and bring substantial experience of working with young people. You will be confident discussing and exploring the Christian faith with young people, including those with little prior church experience.

Collaborative and relational in your approach, you will be able to work effectively with churches of different denominations while building trust with young people from diverse backgrounds.

You will demonstrate spiritual maturity, personal integrity and a clear commitment to Christian faith and leadership.

A creative and reflective practitioner, you will be comfortable contributing to team prayer, engaging in your own spiritual development, and supporting colleagues in theirs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to manage priorities, contribute to planning, use IT systems effectively, and support monitoring and reporting requirements.

Experience of youth leadership, chaplaincy engagement within schools, programme development, and partnership working within a church context would be advantageous.

At Venture Trust, we are looking for Outdoor Therapists in Fife on a 3-year fixed term basis (April 2026 – March 2029).

Our Outdoor Therapists work with young people aged 10-18 years experiencing complex life circumstances. They provide Outdoor Therapy in the hope to support clients to move forwards in ways that are meaningful for them. They work with clients to explore and reflect through individual therapy, which is offered mostly outdoors in urban greenspaces, and on occasion, online.

Our Outdoor Therapists:

• are counsellors / therapists registered with an appropriate professional body who can work thoughtfully and ethically with a client group that can have complex clinical presentations
• are able to work individually to meet the specific needs of their clients whilst maintaining high professional standards
• have personal or professional experience of outdoor environments and will have the capacity to articulate the reasoning behind working therapeutically in natural environment
• be able to work reflectively and effectively within a team and be committed to working towards the aims of the service and the organisation

Ideal candidates will have:

• experience working with children and young people aged 10-18 years in a supportive or therapeutic role
• have had training and experience of working with complex trauma presentations
• experience or desire to support working in outdoor environments

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Café Manager to lead our community focused social enterprise café in Dumbarton. This is a unique opportunity to manage a vibrant hospitality environment while playing a key role in delivering meaningful social impact.

As Café Manager, you will lead daily operations, support staff and volunteers, drive excellent customer service, and ensure the café continues to be a welcoming and inclusive community hub.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled worker to lead the delivery of our North Edinburgh Futures programme — a new early intervention project offering safe, engaging, co designed youth work for 10–15 year olds during evenings and weekends.

You will:

• Plan & deliver high quality youth work sessions, workshops & trips
• Lead & support a team of sessional youth workers
• Build positive relationships with young people & families
• Reduce barriers to participation and promote inclusion
• Strengthen partnerships with schools, organisations & specialist providers
• Maintain accurate monitoring records & support reporting to funders
• Promote safeguarding, trauma informed practice & reflective learning
• Work flexibly, including evenings & weekends

You need:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience working with young people in a youth work or related setting
• Experience planning, delivering and evaluating group activities
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and confidence supporting staff
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
• Understanding of trauma informed, inclusive practice
• Social media confidence
• Experience supporting staff/volunteers (desirable)
• Driving licence or willingness to gain minibus training (desirable)
