Role

Fife Voluntary Action (FVA) is looking for a Coordinator to oversee our Befriending Project, Kingdom Companions. This is a short-term goal-specific service with the aim of reducing social isolation and increasing community participation amongst adults throughout Fife.

You will recruit, select, train and support volunteers, matching them with potential service users. You will also network with partner organisations to promote the service as well as the benefits of volunteering.

About You

FVA is looking for someone who has a background in community development. You will have experience of working with, motivating and supporting volunteers effectively.

It’s essential that you are confident in delivering presentations and engaging with stakeholders, with excellent customer service skills. You should be organised and efficient, with a personal commitment to equal opportunities.

An understanding of the voluntary or charitable sector is desirable.
