Intercultural Youth Scotland (IYS) is Scotland’s leading national youth charity for Black and People of Colour (BPoC)
children and young people. We exist to create safe, supportive and inspiring spaces where young people can
thrive, lead change, and challenge the structural inequalities they face.
IYS delivers a range of high-impact services, including mental health support, youth work, education, employability
and anti-racist policy advocacy. Our work is rooted in community, driven by lived experience, and designed to
amplify the voices and rights of marginalised young people.
We are now looking for a values-led Executive Director to lead the organisation through the next phase of its
journey. This is a key leadership role, responsible for providing strategic direction, supporting staff and
programmes, building external partnerships, and ensuring IYS remains financially sustainable and
mission-focused.
As Executive Director, you’ll guide the organisation’s strategic growth, represent IYS across sectors, and ensure we
continue to deliver meaningful impact for the communities we serve.
