Finance Assistant

We’re looking for two Finance Assistants to join our busy Finance team on a fixed-term basis.

These roles are well suited to candidates who enjoy working at pace, delivering accurate financial processing, and picking up meaningful work quickly. Whether you’re looking for a short-term contract (6 months) or a longer-term opportunity (12 months), these roles provide the chance to make an immediate impact within a well-established finance function.

You’ll support core finance activity across purchase ledger, sales ledger and cashbook, helping ensure transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and on time across a large, multi-service organisation.

What we’re looking for

We’re keen to hear from candidates who are confident, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy finance environment with proven skills in this area..

Essential:

  • Experience in a finance processing or ledger-based role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Evidence of working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT skills, including spreadsheets and finance systems

North West Carers Service provides support to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of unpaid carers of all ages in the Northwest of Glasgow.

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit aFamily Wellbeing Workerfor one year with the possibility of extension dependent on funding.

The successful candidate will be required to:

Identify and coordinate support for unpaid carers in North West Glasgow by developing Adult Carer Support Plans that promote wellbeing and help carers balance their caring responsibilities with a life of their own.

The successful applicant will be a highly organised and self-motivated individual with the ability to plan and prioritise their own workload.

This role is an agile working role with blend of home/office/community settings dependant on service requirements.

Please note a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential as you will be required to travel to various locations and participate/lead on group work.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in Microsoft packages, Word, Excel etc. is essential
