We are currently looking to recruit an individual for the above post – this role is for three days a week.

The Finance and Governance Manager is a key role within the organisation and involves both strategic and operational duties. We would anticipate that the successful candidate will spend a proportionate amount of time on both finance and governance, which may vary throughout the year depending on work commitments.

As a charity we are regulated by OSCR and ideally the successful candidate will have knowledge of, or experience working for, a third sector organisation.

Reachout with Arts in Mind provides services for members who are at various stages of managing their wellbeing. The position will involve interaction with members on a regular basis, and as we are a small staff team, the list of duties is not exhaustive. A range of additional tasks may be undertaken from time to time, and as funding terms and conditions dictates or projects develop.

The role will also involve supporting the Executive Artistic Director in completing funding applications and the financial reporting on spend associated with funders, as well as ensuring all income and revenue is managed, controlled and accounted for.

Strategic input to the Management and Board of Directors summarising and documenting areas of the accounts will also be required.

The post holder will report to the Executive Artistic Director and work closely with the Senior Facilitator & Engagement Manager.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Alzheimer Scotland as a Centre Manager in Perth on a permanent basis, 35 hours per week.

The Centre Manager will lead and manage a team providing Alzheimer Scotland’s programme of support for people concerned about their brain health or affected by dementia. The Centre Manager will be key to the successful delivery of Alzheimer Scotland’s vision to develop a programme of brain health and dementia support at identified centres across Scotland. We are looking for a dynamic person who will support and deliver the ALOIS programme, embedding it within their daily practice and work alongside the Centres Lead to bring the programme to life.

Working with individuals and families, Centre Managers are required to have a warm, flexible approach, as well as skills in empathy and relationship building. We are looking for someone who has strong networking skills and experience of collaborating and developing partnerships both internally and externally.

Line management responsibilities for staff within the Centre is an expected part of the role, including development and supporting a network of volunteers.

Applicants will have an understanding of the aims and values of Alzheimer Scotland supported by excellent communication skills; hold a recognised professional qualification and/or have relevant experience with a willingness to learn and participate in training. Relevant qualifications and/or experience of working with people with dementia would be an advantage.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join Alzheimer Scotland as a Centre Activities Coordinator, with three part-time positions available across our Edinburgh locations.

We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to form a team across our two sites:

Two postholders will be based at our new Outdoor Brain Health & Dementia Resource Centre at Lauriston Castle Lodge – with a strong focus on outdoor, nature-based, and green health activities.

One postholder will be based at our National Centre in West Edinburgh, supporting a wider range of dementia-friendly activities within a centre-based setting.

While each postholder will have a designated base, we anticipate that all three Centre Activities Coordinators will collaborate closely and provide support across both sites as needed, ensuring a seamless and inclusive experience for people living with dementia and their families.

The Centre Activities Coordinators will play a vital role in developing and delivering engaging activities that align with our ALOIS programme model, which includes:

• Creating inclusive spaces for listening and connection.
• Offering meaningful opportunities for individuals and families to engage in therapeutic and social activities.
• Tailoring activities to support brain health and provide dementia friendly engagement
• Ensuring a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for those who need support.

At Lauriston Castle Lodge, the two Centre Activities Coordinators will take a lead in running outdoor and nature-based activities, making full use of the beautiful surroundings to provide a green health approach to brain health and dementia care. The aim is to support people in enjoying the outdoors in a safe, structured, and therapeutic way.

At the National Centre, the Centre Activities Coordinator will coordinate a range of centre-based activities, working with individuals, families, and partners in Health & Social Care, the NHS, and the wider community to enhance service delivery and raise awareness of dementia and brain health.

We are looking for dynamic, compassionate, and creative individuals who can support people in both indoor and outdoor settings. They should take a person-centred, flexible, and innovative approach to organising and leading activities while working collaboratively as part of a team. Strong relationship-building skills with attendees, volunteers, key partners and colleagues are essential.

We are looking for individuals with excellent communication and networking skills, a strong understanding of the values and mission of Alzheimer Scotland, and a willingness to learn and participate in relevant training. While experience working with people with dementia is desirable, it is not essential. A passion for community-based support is key, and for the Lauriston Castle Lodge roles, a genuine interest in the outdoors and green health is particularly important.

The Role

RAMH have been providing a wide range of service support including housing support for over 25 years. We provide dedicated housing support and care at home to service users with a range of mental health and other associated needs. We are seeking an individual with a wide range of supervision and monitoring experience to support our service.

You will also have an in-depth knowledge of mental health and supporting individuals in their own tenancy. You must have excellent leadership skills and be able to manage resources, people, finance, quality and information. Excellent communication and ability to maintain and foster good relationships with partners and stakeholders are essential. In addition, you should have a robust understanding of risk management.

The successful applicant must also be able to demonstrate the ability to monitor and maintain capacity levels within the service, ensure appropriate and quality staffing to meet service needs in line with SSSC requirements and to provide regular service level reports. You will need to work in line with the Care Inspectorate requirements.
