Role
Do you have experience of working with groups, able to provide information and to be a mentor? Are you able to work in partnership with a wide range of organisations?
We are looking for a Churches Advisor to cover central and southern Scotland. Working with an Advisor already in post, as well as the Community Ownership Support Service team, this role will work with communities across Scotland on the sustainable transfer of former places of worship into community ownership.
This role is office-based, working in Edinburgh, but with the potential for some home working. Travel throughout the country will also be required

Working closely with the small team at SIDA, this post will promote the work of SIDA through the provision of high-quality digital communication to our members, external stakeholders and the general public, and provide logistical, digital and administrative support for a range of member events including our annual conference.
The Communications and Events Coordinator will develop engaging content for use across SIDA’s digital platforms, including SIDA Member Hub, and be proactive in finding new ways to share messages and reach a wider audience.
The post will contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives, and a willingness to collaborate and work closely and flexibly with colleagues is essential.

We are looking for a motivated and well-organised individual to support a new team working with communities across Scotland on the sustainable transfer of former places of worship into community ownership.

Impact Funding Partners works with the third sector, public sector, private companies and individual donors to create social, environmental and economic impact.
We develop grant funds with our funding partners and manage them on their behalf. This could be a national fund or one that targets a particular geographic area or group of people. Our expertise covers all elements of fund management from the initial design through to the evaluation of impact.
As CEO, reporting directly to the Board you will be proactive and passionate about supporting the team in all they do, ensuring service delivery and encouraging innovation so that we deliver support across Scotland. Your experience and networks within the Scottish not-for-profit and business communities will ensure you can act as innovator, business developer and ambassador for the organisation.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the development and continued transformation of Impact Funding Partners, devising, redeveloping and implementing the Organisation’s strategy.
A key aspect of the role is the design and delivery of a diversified new service set, and you will work closely with the Board to ensure innovation is balanced with pragmatism.
