Role

Connect Community Trust is a Development Trust and Social Enterprise based within the Greater Easterhouse and East End of Glasgow. Our organisation is first and foremost community-led, with the community at the heart of everything we do. Connect is a forward thinking, creative and diverse organisation that has an ambitious and exciting future ahead with a dedicated and committed team of staff, volunteers and Board.

We are looking to add to our staff team as we move forward to the next phase of our development. These newly created positions will be a core part of our organisations vision to increase the opportunities and support services for local people.

Funded by The National Lottery Cost of Living Fund, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Digital Inclusion Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals who face barriers to accessing and using digital technology. You will provide tailored support, guidance, and resources to help individuals improve their digital skills, access essential online services, and fully participate in the digital world.

You will have experience of providing informal learning experiences to people in communities, a sound understanding of the barriers to digital inclusion and the relevant experience to support participants to overcome these. You will be passionate about the benefits that digital services and equipment can have on improving and enhancing lives. Experience of using a variety of digital equipment, software, and the internet and the ability to support people to use digital at a basic level.
