An opportunity has arisen for an IT manager to join our enthusiastic and dedicated IT team focused on providing excellent IT services to Children First. The role involves the management of IT infrastructure, systems and hardware, overseeing the work of the IT technical team.
Based in Edinburgh, with some home working and visits to sites across Scotland, the successful candidate will bring significant experience of managing cloud hosted IT services. Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Intune, the post holder will be highly motivated with robust problem solving and analytical skills.
The role will involve collaborating with colleagues across the organisation, taking the time to build relationships and understand the needs of the organisation.

Our residential service in Inverness is one of two houses that Aberlour has in the Highlands. Our experienced teams of staff seek to create a comfortable home for the young people where they can grow and flourish, participating in educational and community activities to achieve their goals.
What we are looking for....
We are looking to recruit a Residential Worker to join our team in Inverness. You will work 37.5 hours per week working in a residential house which is home for up to five young people.
As a Residential Worker, you will play a fundamental role in ensuring that our young people are working towards their goals through supporting them with different daily activities. These activities can include educational ones such as school and college as well hobbies and interests which include a wide range of outdoor sporting activities and attending fun groups. Not without its challenges and demands, this is a highly rewarding role.
This service operates a residential rota and, as part of this, you will be expected to work evenings, weekends, nights and public holidays. Shifts are set on a monthly basis, however may on occasion be altered to suit the needs of the service.

Barnardo's are recruiting Senior Practitioner (Project Worker 3) to be involved in the delivery of our Residential Service, to support children and young people in a therapeutic and trauma enhanced approach in a residential child care setting. This position is based in our Residential Home and candidate will be expected to be part of the rota system of working including sleepover and evening shifts.
We are looking for an committed practitioner with experience of working with young people and their families preferably within the context of care experienced. They should be passionate about improving outcomes for young people who are accommodated through child-centred therapeutic approach underpinned by Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy principals.

Waverley Care is looking for a new Fundraising Manager specializing in individual giving with a secondary focus on legacy giving.
The organisation has been at the forefront of providing care for those impacted by HIV and AIDS since 1989. Waverley Care now approaches a seminal moment as they close in on Scotland being one of the first countries in the world to get new HIV transmission down to zero by 2030.
To ensure they can meet the ambition, growth and expansion the charity sees in its future, the fundraising team has been invested in, including creating this new role. The fundraising team is in a good place and just needs the right person to join the charity to provide the remaining missing puzzle piece.
The successful candidate for the role of Fundraising Manager for Individual Giving and Legacies will be someone who has previously worked on delivering successful individual giving campaigns and is looking to broaden their remit to include other income streams such as legacies and mid-value giving, and/or to take on full responsibility for an income stream. In time there is the scope to include line management under this position. The role would suit someone who is excited by potential and is ambitious. Who can lead an individual giving campaign and be a credible expert for IG within Waverley Care.
You will be skilled in providing an excellent supporter journey, and able to apply the fundamentals of gold standard stewardship to other income streams such as with mid value donors and legacy pledgers.
This role is hybrid based, with some presence expected at Waverley Care head office for meetings and to build relationships across the wider team. Waverley Care are happy to consider candidates from outside of Scotland, as long as there is agreed commitment to attend quarterly team meetings in person in Edinburgh, and support at key events across the year.
This role was previously advertised last year as Fundraising Manager covering IG, Legacies and Major Donors. Upon reflection, the team have revised the role to be more focused on just IG and Legacies in line with the skills and expertise they hope to find in the successful candidate.
Barnardo's Stronger Families offers an exciting opportunity to join an established team who are developing Attachment and Trauma Informed Practice models to support families with children aged 0-13 yrs across Fife. Barnardo's has been established in Fife for over 20 years and the Stronger Families service and support to children and families has been a consistent feature within our services across Fife.
Stronger Families offers intensive support to families (6-10hrs per week), and for 6-9mths working alongside partner agencies to prevent family breakdown. This level of support will hopefully help families to make effective and sustainable change to enable the children to safely remain at home.
Due to the intensive nature of this work your caseload will be around 4 families which will enable you to build good relationships with the children, young people & families and through your support will help them effect meaningful change.
You will have experience of working with children & families and will be required to deliver direct services to families who have a range of complex needs.
Experience of working with children and families and a working knowledge of attachment theories and Trauma Informed Practice would be extremely desirable as would a knowledge of The Promise as the principles are embedded into our service delivery.
