My Support Day is a charity based within South Lanarkshire which supports families and loved ones who have been affected by someone else’s substance use. The support is person cantered, and individuals are supported via 1:1, support group both face to face and online.
My Support Day is in partnership with Liber8 to deliver the commissioned South Lanarkshire Alcohol and Drug Partnership (SL ADP) service FREE – Family Recovery Everyone Everywhere. This service is based across South Lanarkshire to access one-to-one support, group support, learning and development and events for the whole family. This service will also offer counselling, mediation and therapeutic services to Individuals using the service which can tailor their support to suit their needs.
My support Day is seeking to recruit a Project Lead for the FREE Service who can effectively make plans that support project goals and lead the team to perform efficiently. They will work diligently to keep their team engaged, motivated, and focused on the task at hand whilst working in line with not only local but also national strategy with focus to embedding a Whole Family Approach and Family Inclusive Practice throughout South Lanarkshire Community. To achieve this the Project Lead will ensure that staff and volunteers go through a comprehensive training to enable a high quality of support given to families and individual that have been affected by someone else’s substance use. The Project Lead will be responsible for raising awareness of the FREE Service and working collaboratively with the South Lanarkshire families and individuals, community members, statutory services, third sector organisations.

You'll be supported by a charitable organisation with extensive experience in launching and managing top-tier registered care services.
Aligned with our vision of empowering individuals impacted by substance use and associated needs, we're collaborating with national and local partners to deliver safe and effective residential care services. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that every individual we support receives the highest quality of care and guidance.
This is a Monday to Friday role and is not on a Rota. As a Sustainable Recovery Worker, you will support people prior to leaving and after their programme to reach their goals and change their lives for the better. You will be part of a passionate and skilled team, contributing to the provision of tailored interventions and recovery approaches.
To ensure residents are supported after completion of the residential and housing services; ensuring a continuum of care approach in order to assist in individuals sustaining recovery.
To lead on the delivery of systematic reviews and support sessions as well as drop-in sessions (virtual and in-person); delivering responsive support on a 1-to-1 and group basis.
Support National development of residential rehabilitation aftercare support packages to promote a continuum of care.

Your role in our therapeutic community will be key. You will manage a small caseload, assess the people who use our service and manage their recovery/care plans. It will mean developing and applying a range of therapeutic approaches to meet their individual needs, whether that’s employment, education, health etc. You’ll be the one who sees that everything is coordinated from the moment they’re referred to us to the time that they move home.
As a Therapeutic Worker, you will support individuals accessing the residential rehabilitation programme to achieve outcomes that help create long-term recovery. Using the Therapeutic Community “community as method” model you will empower individuals, families and communities to be confident about recovery.
You will support the day to day running of the therapeutic community, ensuring residents’ needs are met and the best possible care is provided in an environment that promotes a culture of recovery. Whilst also being confident to deliver therapeutic groups, activities, and specialist interventions in accordance with the TC manual and the needs of the service.
Previous experience is desirable, however not essential. Therapeutic Workers come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and you may have the skills required. We are seeking dedicated individuals, based on your values, willingness to learn new skills and the compassion to deliver the best service possible to our residents.
This is a part-time role of 18 hours per week. You will be expected to work a rolling rota which includes evening and weekend working.

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to support individuals from across Scotland to access Rae House Residential Rehabilitation service. The role is Monday to Friday.
You will have experience of working with people with multiple needs including addiction and have a working knowledge of residential rehabilitation and strengthening recovery capital. Having experience in working with multiple stakeholders and nurturing relationships you will be able to confidently provide guidance to individuals, families and stakeholders in relation to accessing and developing residential rehabilitation pathways into the service.
You will ensure clients feel supported from the point of referral through to their admission to the residential service; offering responsive support to both the individual and their family members. Completing robust assessments and delivering one-to-one and /or group interventions designed to prepare individuals for a rehab stay. You will also meet individuals on their day of admission and offer support post-admission, ensuring they are welcomed in to the therapeutic community welcome house programme according to their individualised needs. You will be positive, innovative and motivational with the ability to work to your own initiative, as well as part of a large multi-disciplinary team.
