About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape and drive our Services and Development Strategy, Business Plan, and Performance Management Framework. You’ll ensure our teams are aligned with our organisational goals and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Safeguarding: Lead our safeguarding efforts by ensuring policies and procedures are compliant, effective, and regularly updated. You’ll create a culture where safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, ensuring that staff and volunteers are trained and supported to act appropriately.
- Service Delivery: Lead the development of a service delivery strategy that drives meaningful change, ensuring our services positively impact the lives of those we support and align with our vision for a stronger, more compassionate social care system. Ensure services are responsive to the needs of the people we support and that they are realistic, measurable, and regularly reviewed. You will oversee the management of budgets and resources to ensure financial sustainability and accountability.
- Business Development: Take ownership of our Business Development strategy, championing new funding and service delivery opportunities. Lead on bid management, ensuring high-quality tender submissions and proposals, and work closely with the Head of Developments to manage contracts and secure long-term sustainability for the organisation.
- Partnership Working: Build and maintain strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Representing the organisation at various levels, you will enhance its profile, collaborate on joint initiatives, and ensure stakeholder feedback informs service delivery.
- Practice & Quality: Ensure the organisation meets the highest standards of practice, with effective quality assurance systems in place. You’ll oversee data collection and analysis to monitor service impact and drive improvements. You’ll be responsible for compliance across all areas, including safeguarding, health and safety, and equality and diversity.
- Strategic Planning & Organisational Leadership: You’ll help shape the strategic direction of the Organisation. You’ll lead with compassion, collaboration, and accountability, fostering a culture aligned with our core values. You’ll also promote a learning environment by prioritising continuous professional development, ensuring teams are supported in learning and reflection.

About the role:
You will be an integral part of the school community and wider MCR team and be the key person delivering the MCR programme to young people in the school.
Key responsibilities:
- Helping to build exceptional individual relationships with young people across S1 to S6 and delivering S1 & S2 group work.

We have 3 different roles we are recruiting for:

These full and part time roles are working Monday to Friday with the occasional evenings.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Practitioner, unlike other support roles, with Turning Point Scotland, no two days are the same!
You will be responsible for being the first point of contact carrying out initial assessments, building trusting relationships and ongoing keyworker support with communication an essential part of the role.
You will also be expected to work in a groupwork setting and/or provide Assertive Outreach to individual’s homes, GP practices and across multiple community settings in the North East of Edinburgh. You will be offering harm reduction advice and interventions to some of the most vulnerable and high-risk people who use drugs. These individuals may have had multiple non-fatal overdoses and are not currently engaged with treatment and or support services.
About You
As our Lead Practitioner, you will have knowledge and experience of drug and alcohol related harm. You will be working within the service delivery rota of Monday to Friday. Alongside the Service Manager and the Service Coordinator to direct and manage the day to day support within the Edinburgh Service ensuring advanced level of social care support including responsibility for service delivery and development which includes providing line management support to the staff team.
You will be passionate and committed and be creative in ways of engaging people, including home visits (alongside a colleague) offering support in the community. Making a difference to people’s lives, you will continue providing support until they are able to engage in more structured support within the hub.

The Board is currently made up of a Board of seven non-executive directors one Chairperson and six Board Members who oversee the work of Revenue Scotland. We also currently have just under 100 staff and a senior leadership team of four, led by our Chief Executive.
Since 2015, Revenue Scotland has been responsible for collecting almost £7 billion from two devolved taxes, Land and Buildings Transaction Tax and Scottish Landfill Tax.
Our Corporate Plan 2024-27 sets out our aspirations for the future and strategic objectives. Over the next three years we will be preparing to introduce two new devolved taxes: Scottish Aggregates Tax and Scottish Building Safety Levy. Responsibilities
As a Board Member at Revenue Scotland you will play a key part in the running of the organisation. The role of a Board Member is to work with the other Board Members to fulfil the responsibilities for the Board which are to:

REMUNERATION AND TIME COMMITMENT
These positions are remunerated at £303.52 per day (reviewed annually) for every 7.5 hours devoted to performing your functions (as required or requested by the Board) up to a maximum total fee of £10,926.72 per financial year.
Remuneration is non-pensionable and reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
Members are expected to work up to 36 days per year to perform their functions as and when required.
