Top job! Head of Dementia

  • £36,344 pa actual. 28 hours per week. Fixed term until 31st March 2026, possible extension subject to funding. A secondment of 12 months with the potential for extension by mutual agreement would be considered.

Role

Age Scotland is the national charity for older people. We work to improve the lives of everyone over the age of 50 so that they can love later life.

As the Head of Dementia, you will provide strategic leadership for Age Scotland’s dementia work, including (but not limited to):

  • About Dementia Human Rights and community engagement work
  • Dementia Friendly Communities including Network and Grants work
  • Dementia Training Team

The post will be Scotland-based, a blend of office (Edinburgh-based) and home working. As a hybrid role the intention is that office based and external facing work will constitute 40% of working time over each month.
