Role

Mindspace Recovery College is part of Mindspace Limited. We aim to promote mental wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment within Perth and Kinross by providing services to the community which complement those offered by statutory organisations.

The Young People’s Recovery College was formed in October 2016. From its inception the Young People’s Recovery staff have very successfully developed and delivered programmes of self-management, awareness and information sessions for young people with lived experience of mental ill health.

We need an enthusiastic and skilled facilitator to join our team and continue the development of the Young People’s Recovery College in partnership with the Adult Recovery College and Counselling service.

Role

Mindspace Limited is a community-based voluntary organisation committed to supporting and promoting the mental well-being of people in the Perth area. Mindspace is funded by NHS Tayside, Perth & Kinross Council, Health and Social Care Partnership, the Scottish Government and donations. Mindspace aims to promote mental well-being in a safe and supportive environment.

Purpose of the post

We need an enthusiastic and skilled facilitator to join our team and continue the development of the Young People’s Recovery College in partnership with the Adult Recovery College and Counselling service.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a structured learning programme to schools and partner organisations with colleagues and partners.
  • Participate in external forums, workshops and events to promote the work of Mindspace.
  • Monitor, evaluate and improve learning delivery and resources.
  • Ensure adequate records are kept under GDPR guidelines while ensuring all young people's confidentiality
  • Ensure quality of service by collating and monitoring young people’s feedback.
  • Contribute to developing service guidelines, policies and protocols to ensure the organisation maintains high-quality services.
  • In collaboration with the Senior Recovery Facilitator and Chief Executive, set appropriate missions and goals to ensure the continued development of the service.
  • Undertake other duties that may be required and commensurate with the post.
