Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Children and Family Services in the West of Scotland, to positively impact on the lives of children, young people and their families, building empowering relationships to address the various, often complex challenges they face.
These are innovative services, working alongside children and their families within communities across Glasgow and the West, providing intensive and preventative family support which is easily accessible and non-stigmatising. We listen and learn from children and families to develop the service alongside our partners.
We adopt a relational and restorative approach which helps families to strengthen relationships and reduce emotional distress. Placing the voice of children, young people and their families at the centre of the support, the team provide collaborative whole family support, focusing on highlighting the resilience of families and responding to their individual needs.

Your base will Glasgow with some opportunities for home working as well as meeting partners across the Central Belt.

• Collaborating on a regular basis with the Directors keeping them well informed of and prepared for upcoming commitments and responsibilities and following up appropriately.
• Communicating effectively with the Directors to prioritise and manage workload accordingly.
To be considered for this opportunity you must be/have:
• Qualified to SCQF Level 6 or equivalent in Business or Administration or significant proven administrative experience.
• Excellent ICT skills (MS 365 applications).
• Carried out a similar role.
• Experience of electronic and paper-based records/file management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Location
This role can be based in any of our main offices (Aberdeen, Dundee or Glasgow), or part of our hybrid working model. If opting for hybrid, we would need you to live within a reasonable commute of Aberdeen, Dundee or Glasgow. The Role
As part of our wider leadership team, you'll provide expertise and support to our Branch Leaders to ensure the development and delivery of measurable business growth targets.
You’ll take the lead on developing relationships with commissioners and partners ensuring that we have a solid understanding of the long-term strategic landscape in social care and that we develop practice to meet the emerging needs of people with learning disabilities, autism and complex care needs.
You will oversee our:
- Contracts & Commissioning Team - ensuring that we meet our contractual obligations and tender effectively for new and existing contracts
- Practice Development Team - ensuring that we continually develop our practice (including our Positive Behaviour Support approach) to provide expert care and support that meets current and future demand.
About You
