Role

Every day people with chest, heart and stroke conditions are leaving hospital scared and alone. You can be part of our mission to make sure that there is no life half lived in Scotland.

We believe there should be No Life Half Lived in Scotland. With your support, we can make sure people with chest, heart and stroke conditions and Long Covid can do more than survive – they can really live.

Our No Life Half Lived strategy outlines our belief that every person with our conditions should have access to quality supported self-management and community recovery. We will deliver an approach to this that is designed by people with our conditions and puts what matters to them at the heart. We will work to develop the partnerships that will enable this to be available across Scotland.

Our vision is to help shape a Scotland where people with our conditions can live their lives well. Full lives, with the right support, at the right time, and in the right place.

To deliver the strategy we have embedded a project management function which:

  • To accurately and transparently record the delivery of the NLHL #2 strategy.
  • Capture changes and decision making within projects.
  • Develop and implement successful project and programme governance.
  • To ensure staff feel supported in the initiation, planning and delivery of NLHL #2 projects across the organisation.
  • Create realistic project schedules and plans to ensure the delivery within the allocated timeframe.

CHSS employees enjoy a variety of organisational benefits including: Company pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, company sick pay, employee welfare support and life assurance.
