Role

Sacro’s mission is to deliver life-changing services that empower people, give hope and protection, and help to build safe communities.

Sacro provides Restorative Justice and one to one Cognitive Behavioural Change Programmes to assist young people between the ages of 12 – 21 years who have either been charged with an offence or have been identified as being involved in negative or anti-social behaviour in the community. Those who have been harmed by this behaviour are also offered a service in every case where possible and appropriate.

You will be responsible for working directly with service users as part of an existing Youth Justice team. You should have experience of working with young people who offend and have some knowledge of Cognitive Behaviour Interventions, Restorative Justice and Anti-Social Behaviour Legislation.

You should be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work both as part of a team and independently is required, experience of interagency working would also be an advantage. A commitment to Sacro’s value base is essential, as this type of work can be challenging.
