Role

Support for Ordinary Living (SOL) is a value based non-profit organisation, who work for people with a variety of different support needs and disabilities to choose and create a life for themselves within their own homes and communities throughout Lanarkshire.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time account assistant to join the organisations finance team. We are looking for someone who has at least one years’ experience in a similar role however this does not need to have been with a non – profit or social care organisation as training will be given. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritise their workload, manage competing priorities and work to deadlines while maintaining accuracy. They should have excellent communication skills as they will be liaising with various stakeholders.

The Main Responsibilities of the role are:

• Petty Cash Management

• Sales and Purchase Ledgers

• Credit Control

• Bank Reconciliation

• Assisting the Head of Finance
