Are you experienced in fundraising looking for your next senior role? We are offering a wonderful opportunity for a driven and focused individual to join the Quarriers fundraising team as Senior Fundraiser Corporate & Events. Do you have a flare for developing relationships, and organising events? if so, we want to hear from you!

Quarriers believe in helping people live the life they choose, and our fundraising team play a key part in the service we provide to adults and children across Scotland.

You will be part of a very successful Funding and Marketing team focussed on delivering a high level of results, supporting our events portfolio and inspiring the supporter experience.

As a member of the Fundraising team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of an Integrated strategy for the following:

  • Develop inspiring supporter experience through Corporate & Events income.
  • Raise profile Develop a greater understanding of Quarriers fundraising portfolio and develop the organisation to be a ‘charity of choice’ across corporate fundraising.
  • Develop an understanding of the key aspects of our work and be able to articulate the vision of the organisation in a clear, passionate, and confident way.
  • Ensure a coordinated and clear approach is established for all events where our supporters or and donor prospects might attend.
  • Ensure supporter journey is strong and robust and build a segmented pipeline of corporate.
  • Identify opportunities to develop relationships across the organisation to support the Corporate, Fundraising and Events activity and develop an inspirational and engaging communications plan to ensure commitment.
  • Develop stewardships plans which can be measured and monitored.

This is a part-time permanent role, working 21 hours per week in line with our agile working policy which blends home-working with office time.

What you will need to be considered

  • Experience within the third sector, or business development within leading commercial organisations
  • Experience of project management with internal and extremal stakeholders
  • Influencing and Networking skills
  • Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills
  • Excellent CRM database management and the ability to segment data, provide accurate reports and identify opportunities.
  • Highly organised, confident self-starter and capable of taking initiative and leading on a programme of activity.
  • High degree of numeracy and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of MS applications particularly Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience of working under pressure to successfully meet tight deadlines.
