As a Quality Officer you will support clinical governance, quality assurance, innovation and quality functions across the organisation. Your role will be to support operational services to remain compliant with legislative standards and best practice and to demonstrate clearly evidenced quality standards and positive outcomes through audits, inspections and compliance monitoring. This is a predominately a Scottish home-based role however you will be required to travel between Scottish services to offer ad hoc support and annual auditing alongside additional meetings across the UK will be required, this may be inclusive of overnight stays.

The Team

Due to the operational growth of three new Care Inspectorate registered services we are excited to expand our Quality and Performance Team within Scotland. The Quality and Performance team is currently made up of 8 individuals who oversee a number of separate yet interrelated work streams and specialisms including; Data, health and safety, Incident Management, Drug and alcohol related harms, the auditing of Phoenix services, policy and procedure, complaints, compliments and co production. We are looking for an individual who is suitable located to our Scottish services in; Glasgow, Ayrshire, Aberdeenshire and Fife to help further develop our Quality and Performance offer.

About you

You are based in Scotland and are able to work as part of a team to ensure we continue to work towards achieving and demonstrating quality service

You will have people care and communication skills including telephone manner, tone of emails and letter writing and able to convey information clearly and accurately

You will have excellent management skills, able to prioritise, organise and schedule activities and resources to ensure achievement of results

You will have an understanding or experience of the Care Inspectorate and Health and Social Care Standards.

You will support the Housing Team Manager and wider colleagues with the development of the brand-new service(s) in Aberdeen city and you will work as part of a team to develop and maintain high quality supported plans for individuals in our Aberdeen Recovery Housing Service.

You will provide outreach across Aberdeen city centre supporting individuals with the aim to gaining their own tenancy.

The Role

To maintain safety and security within a designated housing managed project

To provide a community based service which enables the individuals within the local drug and alcohol treatment system and housing services to secure and maintain appropriate housing for support through their recovery journey.

About You

Experience of facilitating or co-facilitating group programmes

Experience of delivering 1 to 1 support

An understanding of the complex issues presented by individuals experiencing homelessness, housing support needs or drug and alcohol recovery.

Experience of working with individuals in the substance use sector or related field.

The ability to be innovative and be flexible in order to meet the needs of the service.

Be able to work effectively with multi-agencies, whilst maintaining the excellent reputation of the service.

Knowledge of adult and child protection essential as you will be working with vulnerable people in a community setting

The Service

We are opening an exciting new Recovery Housing service which will have multiple houses/flats based across Aberdeen city centre and are currently in the final stages of procuring these. Your office base will be in the city centre, however there will be a need to travel to the houses across the city. You will manage a small team providing tenancy support and delivering group work and 1 to 1 in our city centre office base.

The Role

The Intandem Co-ordinator will be responsible for the delivery of our intandem family mentoring service, making a positive difference to care experienced children and young people, who are in kinship care.

The post holder will recruit, train, and support a team of volunteers to mentor children and young people in Kinship Care. By providing mentors this will give this vulnerable group of children and young people the best start in life. The role will include line managing sessional Intandem family mentors who will work with the family to develop goals-focused Whole Family Approach mentoring plans – covering emotional/practical support; coaching/advice around family relationships/child development/parenting skills; harm reduction.

As well as managing sessional staff and volunteers, the role involves engaging with young people and their parent/carers to build relationships and likewise engage with other professionals for joint agency referrals, support, and evaluation. The post holder will contribute to the national intandem programme to record and monitor outcomes and to deliver best practice, as well as work towards developing the evidence base for mentoring young people in Scotland.

The Role

You will support individuals to sustain and maintain their recovery and support with re-integration into the wider community by facilitating 1:1 and groupwork. You will assist individuals in developing their own skills, including tenancy sustainment and practical living skills, in the next stage of their treatment and to resettle within the local community and society. This will also include working as part of a team to provide quality accommodation and support services for vulnerable adults within a safe and secure environment. Additionally, you will be the lead with the Recovery Through Nature (RTN) programme within the service, supporting all RTN work within Glasgow.

As well as supporting the individuals in our services you will support family members and loved ones of the individuals that access the service and assist and facilitate family support groups for those that are accessing Phoenix services.

The Glasgow Housing service currently provides ongoing aftercare support for individuals on completion of a range of residential rehabilitation stays, and therefore you will assist all clients in sustaining long-term recovery.

The Service

Our Glasgow Housing Service is a supported accommodation consisting of 10 flats, housing up to 16 individuals. All our residents have completed a residential rehabilitation programme prior to entering the service. Tenancy sustainment skills and maintaining their recovery is at the forefront of what the service provides. Residents will stay at the service for up to 6 months in preparation for moving to their own tenancy and living independently. We also provide an aftercare service to ensure the transition of moving into their own house is a smooth as possible and the individual continues to receive the support they need.
