We are recruiting for a Carer Support Worker.

We are a well-established, carer led organisation working with and for unpaid carers to develop and deliver services that make a positive difference to their lives. A value-based organisation, our mission is to ensure that carers in Lanarkshire are identified, engaged, well informed, involved, supported, and empowered.

Accessing early information, advice and support is key to helping unpaid carers manage their caring role. We provide personalised support throughout the caring journey, working with individuals and groups, building relationships, making sure carers know their rights and helping them to identify and address their support needs.

Post holders will be based between Lanarkshire Carers Centre: Hamilton and Airdrie, and localities throughout Lanarkshire. Working from home/hybrid working may also be required. Staff also work on an outreach basis in community, health and social care venues across Lanarkshire.
