Clyde Scouts provides local Scouting support to our amazing volunteers across the City of Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire. Alongside this, we run an outdoor centre, 2 campsites and an online retail outlet.
The role will be based at our regional office at 21 Elmbank Street, Glasgow.
About the role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced leader to provide leadership for the Region’s staff team and deliver operational support for the Regional Executive Committee, the Regional Commissioner and his/her team in relation to the effective delivery of a programme of support for adult training, development, communications, fundraising and administration.
You will work with the Regional Executive Committee and staff team to support the growth of business at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre and The Glasgow Scout Shop and with the Regional Commissioner, identify and implement opportunities to grow Scouting in communities across Clyde Region.
The successful candidate will be experienced in managing a dynamic and varied workload with flexibility and attention to detail and will be good at building relationships with our staff and volunteers internally and external organisations which can support us in delivering #SkillsForLife to more young people and adult volunteers.
