West Lothian Family Wellbeing Hub is looking for a relational, child centred and resilient Team Leader to join us in ensuring the wellbeing and safe family life of children and young people in West Lothian. You will be part of a leadership team with children and families rights to make decisions for themselves at the heart of our work and you will support staff across a range of resources including, Family Group Decision Making, Kinship Care Support and Young People’s Mental Health.
We are looking for a Leader with the experience and skills to get alongside families and their children at really difficult times to support them and staff in creating positive plans that ensure the mental wellbeing and safe care of children. We are looking for someone with experience of working collaboratively with families, alongside a range of professionals and with a sound understanding of child protection.

You must have excellent communication and solution focussed skills and will work in close partnership with Social Work, Education, Health and the 3rd Sector to lead alongside the Service Manager in developing the innovative trauma informed and restorative approach to working with families.
This is a permanent, full time post of 35 hours per week. Hours to be worked flexibly to suit the needs of the service, with occasional evening and weekend work.
