Role

The main purpose of this role is to support the parent/carers of children and young people living with learning difficulties, and young people up to age 25, by providing information, advice and 1:1 support. The role involves telephone and email communication, including Live Chat, and may include contacting professionals on behalf of families. During current restrictions the role is home-based, and flexible thereafter.

We deliver a diverse range of services to parents, carers, children and young people living with learning difficulties and the professionals who work with them. Our outputs include practical resources, learning opportunities and research projects. We also advocate on behalf of children, young people and families.
