Role

This post is part of the GCVS Health and Social Care team, and the person will lead on issues relating to suicide prevention work across the city. The post is funded by the Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership to provide ongoing business and planning support to both the multi-agency Glasgow City Suicide Prevention Partnership and the Glasgow City Third Sector Suicide Prevention Group.

The post-holder will provide planning support to a range of multi-agency sub groups, which support the implementation of specific actions for the National Suicide Prevention Action Plan, “Every Life Matters” and Glasgow City Suicide Prevention Action Plans. They will also build relationships with colleagues and interested parties across sectors to support the vision and practice of Glasgow as a Suicide Safer city.
