You will be home or office based. Post Covid-19 with the expectation to travel across Tayside and Highlands.

BAME Recruitment are working in partnership with Volunteering Matters to support the recruitment of Delivery Leaders based in Tayside and Highland.

About the role

As a Delivery Leader, your role will be to develop and facilitate a high performing team that delivers inclusive and impactful volunteering and social action activities across Glasgow and West Scotland whilst meeting the needs of the communities that they are part of. You will be leading both the joint staff and volunteer team.

You will be the main leads for local commissioners, funders and partners. You will be responsible for maintaining pre-existing relationships with partners and securing renewals, as well as discovering and creating potential new business and collaboration opportunities.

You will be trustworthy, respect your team members and promote a culture of collective accountability. As a Delivery Leader, you will play a leading role in ensuring that Volunteering Matters is an inclusive, happy and rewarding place to work and volunteer.

About You

We would like to hear from you if you have experience of:

• Building, facilitating and managing high performing teams.

• Using the power of storytelling to evidence impact and influence stakeholders.

• Building effective relationships across organisations.

• Place based delivery and development.

• Managing external stakeholder networks.

• Reporting on projects, including budget management.

Together with:

• Willingness to empower volunteers to deliver local services.

• Previous management or leadership experience in the community.
