About Us
The Corstorphine Dementia Project is an established and well-loved community charity that is dedicated to providing quality day services to individuals in the local area living with dementia. This is achieved through our day centre the Jubilee Club and our fortnightly Teatime Club.
Our Vacancy
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, confident and friendly individual to join our day centre team. You will be located in our Jubilee Club and work with a team of staff and volunteers supporting individuals with varying stages and types of dementia. Ideally the successful applicant will have experience of working in a support environment, but this is not essential. With the ability to understand the needs of older people with dementia you will effectively contribute towards a relaxed, fun and caring environment within a framework that promotes independence and individual choice. Good verbal communication skills and the ability to confidently engage with those around you is essential.

Please send a CV and a statement (approx. 200 words) explaining why this position is of interest to you and what personal qualities you could bring to the job.
