Role

About us

At Simon Community Scotland, our vision is for everyone to have a safe place to live with access to the help they need. Every day we help make positive things happen for people facing extremely difficult circumstances. Everything we do is about and for people: the people we support, our staff, our partners and everyone affected by homelessness.

Leading the way

We have been leading on digital inclusion within the homelessness sector for the past 5 years through our national programme Get Digital Scotland. As a response to the pandemic, we launched a new, innovative initiative called Get Connected to help the people we support get online and access all of the benefits of the digital world.

Get connected initiatives

What we did

In 2021 we connected 100 people experiencing homelessness with a digital device, unlimited connectivity and support in our Get Connected 100 project - the results were TRULY LIFE CHANGING!

(see Podcast and Report below).

What’s next

We are now expanding this groundbreaking, sector leading project and are looking for a person with drive, passion and ambition to support us to take it to the next level. We have received significant funding to connect a further 500 people experiencing homelessness to the digital world over the next 18 months and we CAN’T WAIT to deliver more incredible outcomes for the people we support.

What We Need

We need an outstanding candidate to join our award winning team, to support our national digital inclusion programme (Get Digital Scotland) across the homelessness sector nationally.

Are you interested?

Are you interested in joining an amazing team and supporting this truly inspirational project? Are you interested in this opportunity to deliver life changing outcomes for people experiencing homelessness?

We have strong evidence to demonstrate this approach works (listen to the podcast / read the report below), and now we need an outstanding person to join our team to support us in the delivery of the project.
