Do you have a passion for making people feel welcome and a gift for hospitality?
Join us as a Café Supervisor at our new project at Ashbrook, a Victorian villa in North Edinburgh, which includes a dementia friendly café and conference and training rooms available for hire. There are also formal gardens and woodland which will be used for a therapeutic recovery garden.
Ashbrook is directly adjacent to the Salvation Army’s Eagle Lodge Home for Older People and some of our café customers are residents of the Lodge and their families. We are marketing the café to the wider community and to organisations in the city who support people and families experiencing dementia.
Ashbrook Café is a light and airy space offering a friendly and accessible space, serving light lunches and home baking. Everyone is welcome, especially those whose lives are touched by dementia. We want to create an environment where people of every generation can come together, learning each other’s life experiences, and enjoying each other’s company.
