Role

St Andrew’s Hospice is a registered charity providing specialist palliative care for patients with life-limiting conditions which require complex symptom management, and/or end-of-life care. It is Lanarkshire's specialist hospice and provides multidisciplinary support for patients, their families and carers. The service is provided completely free of charge for the adult population of North and South Lanarkshire and is open to all without distinction of race, gender or creed.

We are looking to recruit permanent nurses to work on a rotational basis over day and night shift as required.

You will be a registered nurse preferably with experience of, and a genuine commitment to palliative care. You will provide a professional nursing service to support our patients and their families including care planning, medication administration, multi-disciplinary team working and providing care. You should be a role model for appropriate practice and be interested in progressing your career in palliative care services.

The shifts are rotational covering the wards over 24 hours as required. Day & Back shifts are 7 hours.

Enhancements will be payable for the appropriate shifts.
