What you’ll be doing
Working 21 hours a week you will work alongside the helpline team providing valuable information, advice and support to adoptive families, adopted people and professionals via telephone, email and social media.
You will also Provide administrative support to the team with email and phone enquiries, supporting events, preparing documents, gathering feedback and evaluations and contributing to the development of promotional resources.

Who you are
Having demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the issues, challenges affecting the adoption community, you will,
· Be able to meet the criteria in this candidate pack
· Be experienced in administration support
· Have excellent communication skills including the ability to connect and empathise with people.
· Have experience in helpline support or similar
· Ideally you will have lived experience of parenting care experienced children or have lived or relevant professional experience
What we offer
This contract is permanent, working 21 hours per week across a minimum of three days, and attracts a salary of £23,164 per annum (pro-rata).
The office is based in Edinburgh, and there is the opportunity for hybrid working arrangements.
