Role

GAMH services support people with mental health problems to recover and lead self-determined and purposeful lives. Project Workers are required to work in our Service Centres located across the city

Project Workers will provide first line management to Assistant Project Workers using established supervision and performance management systems.

They will contribute to the personal development of self and the team of Assistant Project Workers in conjunction with the Team Coordinator/Project Leader. Project Workers will implement agreed systems, procedures and practice for assessments, plans and reviews in conjunction with the Team Coordinator/Project Leader.

A qualification at SVQ3 or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards achieving this qualification is essential due to the requirements to register with the SSSC for this post. Experience of working in a Health and Social Care environment is desirable due to the requirements to register with the SSSC for this post.

Applicants must be able to work flexibly; some early morning, evening and weekend working may be required.

These posts are regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
