Advice Helpline Assistant

Role

You will work as part of the advice and advocacy team and will be the first point of contact for community members calling our advice helpline. You will provide a telephone based triage support, exploring immediate needs of individual callers, including organising interpreters where required, processing new referral information into our advice CRM, processing internal referrals to other GCP services, arranging appointments with the casework team and signposting external to agencies/partners.

Working hours will be spread over 2 full days and 2 half days, and you will be required to be available for morning slots over Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of providing high-quality telephone based assistance, and be accustomed to supporting individuals remotely with low and variable levels of English.
