Glasgow.
Our purpose is: To achieve social justice in the areas of Govan and Craigton by building a strong community based on
equality, mutual respect, support, and integration.
Are you experienced in fundraising, passionate about social justice and ready to use your skills to make a difference for people seeking safety in Glasgow?
Govan Community Project provides a holistic range of support for individuals and families in the asylum and refugee community.
We are looking for a grants and trusts fundraiser who can transform human stories into powerful funding proposals. Your work will directly secure a combination of project and unrestricted funding needed to keep our essential services sustainable.
In this role we are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years experience in a grants and trusts fundraising role and a history of securing grant funding in excess of £200,000 annually.
- Has knowledge of the Scottish charity funding sector, full cost recovery and budget planning
- Can create compelling narratives that highlight the real experiences and needs of our community
- Can develop a strong pipeline of grant prospects to diversify project and unrestricted funding

Are you a welcoming and organised administrator passionate about social justice and ready to use your skills to create a safe, supportive space for people seeking safety in Glasgow?
Govan Community Project provides a holistic range of support for individuals and families in the asylum and refugee community.
We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and efficient Operational Assistant who can be the welcoming first point of contact for visitors to our Govan office and provide administrative support across our team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has prior experience in a reception or administrative role
- Can create a safe and welcoming environment for all office visitors
- Is confident in their ability to communicate with individuals experiencing language barriers with patience and empathy Is confident in handling telephone enquiries , signposting callers to relevant staff/external services
- Has excellent organisational and time management skills to manage generic inboxes and support colleagues with administrative tasks
- Possesses a basic understanding of the challenges faced by members of the asylum and refugee community.
- Feels confident to support volunteer receptionists with onboarding and rota schedules.
