MCR Pathways supports over 3,000 young people from across the country. These are really exciting times and we are looking for an exceptional Programme Manager to lead our programme and manage our school-based Coordinators across a group of Aberdeenshire schools.
The role is an exciting and varied one. As part of our Education & Schools team, you will lead the regional team of school Pathways Coordinators and be supported by our Mentor Services, Marketing and Digital teams.
For this role, you’ll need to be relentlessly driven to ensure all care-experienced young people and those experiencing disadvantage in the region are supported to find, grow and use their individual talents and that their education, employment choices and life chances outcomes are maximised. You’ll have experience of managing a team, be highly organised and ambitious to ensure all young people in scope have the opportunity to access the YST Aberdeenshire programme.

STAND International
STAND International, through its learning centre, works with people in the UK and overseas to promote learning and understanding, and support practical structured learning opportunities for those who have experienced barriers to education and employment.
The acronym STAND comes from Start A New Day, denoting the idea that participating in projects allows participants to re-evaluate the opportunities they are presented with in life and to consider positive involvement in, and contributions to, their communities. Our learners have all experienced disadvantage in their lives, many of them through the care system, homelessness, substance use and other challenges.
Our learning programmes are delivered with partner organisations overseas and can lead to accredited qualifications. The projects support our learners to fulfil their potential, widen their horizons, and enhance their employment opportunities, whilst at the same time becoming more involved in an inclusive society.
Purpose of the Job:
This role will be accountable for developing and nurturing key strategic partnerships in the UK, as well as managing existing partners and connections.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able lead from the front while ensuring you work as a key team member. As well as being able to build strong partnerships, you will have the ability to gather, analyse and use data to drive the Partnerships strategy forward.

We’re looking for a Services and Development Lead to join our Leadership Team, where you will oversee the delivery and development of LCiL support services. You will provide leadership that supports LCiL to deliver and grow person-led, innovative, and high quality services.
This post is an essential lead role contributing to the ongoing sustainability of LCiL enabling it to take forward a new three-year strategic plan which is currently being developed.
Services and Development Lead role:
- The post holder will manage a team over Service Managers and will required to ensure that strategic and operational goals for those services are met.
- Support the CEO with contributions to the overall organisation’s strategy and development.
- Work alongside the CEO and the Operations and Finance Lead to ensure a strong connection between organisational and services planning, and financial sustainability.
- Promote and represent LCiL at relevant networks, meetings, and external events.
- Foster collaboration and best practises across services.

LCIL is a user-led organisation providing a range of services that enable Disabled People to live independently in the community of their choice.
LCiL are recruiting for a full time Peer Support and Learning Facilitator to facilitate the effective delivery of the PSL programme deliver workshops and peer support groups in Edinburgh and the three Lothians.
PSL facilitates group peer support with disabled people and carers on all stages of their social care and Self-Directed Support (SDS) journey, empowering them to take ownership of, and have more control over, their health and wellbeing. The team also work in partnership with The Action Group (TAG) to facilitate peer support with carers from BAME backgrounds.
Peer Support and Learning Facilitator role:
• Alongside PSL and TAG colleagues and LCiL Champions, facilitate peer support groups with disabled people and carers in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian, and West Lothian.
• Support Champions within their roles; work with the Service Manager to ensure meaningful opportunities for volunteers are available and people are supported to learn, develop, and lead.
• As part of team, create content for information workshops and co-deliver with colleagues and Champions.
