Role

Across Scotland right now people are worried about their heart condition, struggling to breathe or fighting to recover from a stroke. We won’t stand for that. At Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland our mission is to make sure that no life is half lived. We’re looking for an Internal Communications specialist for one year (Maternity Cover) who will be responsible for planning, creating and delivering high quality content to engage staff across our charity.

The role holder will provide support across teams and Directorates to make sure staff are aware of opportunities to get involved in the charity’s activities and to celebrate the successes of the charity, its staff and volunteers. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative communications all-rounder who is committed to delivering excellent communications to support the charity’s objectives and strategy. You will also need to be able to build strong effective relationships with key stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation.

As Internal Communications Officer you will be working full-time within our dynamic Communications and Fundraising Directorate.

We are the country’s largest charity offering care and support to people with chest, heart and stroke conditions. Our Hospital to Home services provide a network of nurses, support workers and peer support groups to help people across Scotland live life to the full. So many people in Scotland with our conditions need help right now.
