The Service
WDP are delivering a large IPS employment service contract in West London to support people affected by substance misuse into sustainable paid employment. IPS (Individual Placement & Support) is a proven system based around working intensively and exclusively on securing employment. Employment support | Westminster Drug Project (wdp.org.uk) IPS into Work is an established community service that is well performing and highly functioning.
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join the IPS Work team in West London. This exciting and rewarding role will provide you with significant scope for growth and innovation within a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team of employment professionals. The main purpose of this role is to provide excellent quality support to get individuals into paid employment. The focus is to work directly with a range of partners, stakeholders and employers against defined targets and milestones. Service users will be supported for up to nine months, with an additional four months of in-work support.
Location
The service will be delivered across nine boroughs within west London: Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster. An Employment Specialist will be allocated a borough and cover other areas from time to time where needed. This is integral to the role.
