MCR Pathways is a national, award-winning mentoring programme dedicated to addressing the long-standing inequality in education outcomes, career opportunities and life chances for young people in care and those experiencing vulnerability or disadvantage.
In 2021 MCR were winners of a prestigious UK Centre for Social Justice Award CSJ award. The CSJ produced this film about MCR young person Emily and her mentor Elaine.
This is an exciting time to join MCR Pathways and you will have a real opportunity to influence the ongoing development and engagement of our team and have a crucial role in our Management Team. You will provide HR advice and guidance on a wide range of activities, providing vital recruitment expertise, coaching our leaders on performance management and employee engagement.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day policies and processes are in place, compliant with legal requirements and fully implemented and understood across the organisation.
About you:You’ll be able to evidence that you have significant recent experience in a similar role, ideally for a comparable organisation. You may be looking for a more flexible working pattern or looking for a role that allows you to make a meaningful impact within and beyond the organisation. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to provide sound and practical advice to the leadership team.
